Dimlux Expert Series Grow Light – MKII DE EL UHF DXO
The MKII upgrade is a more efficient, functional and smarter light fixture. The electronics produce less heat loss, the ballast housing is 30% shorter.
The rotary knob has been replaced with push buttons, now the status can be set with a 4 digit display. All status and error codes are now displayed in full instead of with a code.
The Dimlux Expert MKII is equipped with an extra interconnect port (Smartport) that can be used universally. Multiple lights can be connected together as well as a vast array of add ons.
The MKII is standard equipped with the Ultra Optics Hybrid 98 reflector. This ensures deep light penetration and a large overlap with other fixtures for better crop uniformity. The Hybrid reflector is the ideal reflector for most applications.

Dimlux 1000W grow lights use the Ultra Optics 98 reflector which is 98% reflective Miro Silver. The fixture produces a whopping PPF of 2107 μmol/s at 1000W. This light has seven dimming levels including an overdrive feature that boosts the PPF to 2528 μmol/s at 1200W.
The Ultra Optics 98 reflector was designed on the Single Bounce Clear Sight (SBCS) principle. This means light photons only “bounce” once on the reflector on there way to the canopy. This extends lamp life and cooler operating temperatures. The 50mm socket on top of the hood allows air to passively rise above the fixture for extration with an exhaust fan. This leads to LOWER COOLING COSTS.
